personally, i'm not that interested in the president election next year..
secara terbuka gue nyatakan bahwa gue golput.
i don't take sides on any individual or political party.
dan gue belom pernah menggunakan hak pilih gue sama sekali.

well, mungkin alasannya cuman salah satu dari idealisme aneh gue aja.. hehehe.
bagi gue, ga realistis aja kalo kita milih satu orang dan berharap orang itu membawa perubahan buat rakyat yang berjuta-juta orang isinya.
dan kalo orang itu gagal ato kurang memuaskan, dia yang dihujat.
buat apa gue milih orang terbaik di dunia pun buat jadi presiden kalo gue sendiri ga berkontribusi apa2 untuk ikut merealisasikan perubahan yang gue harap itu?
apa bakal cuman nontonin tu orang, nunggu apa yang bakal dia bikin untuk negara?
gue ga pengen begitu..
maka, selagi gue merasa gue belom cukup berkontribusi untuk negara Indonesia tercinta ini, gue belom mau menggunakan hak pilih gue.
kontribusi dalam bentuk apa, yaaa itu balik ke diri sendiri..
kalo bagi gue, kontribusi gue berwujud apapun yang gue lakukan dalam kapasitas gue yang bisa bermanfaat buat masyarakat.
skarang sih, yaaa jujur aja gue blon bisa apa2. hehehehehehe.
makanya golput. =D
and for some reason, liat iklan2 kampanye calon2 presiden itu, gue semakin males milih..
one thing, gue tau iklan2 macem begitu ga mungkin murah.
itu bisa miliar-miliaran rupiah.
mungkin lebih..
rather than promoting and building a self-image like that, kenapa dana2 segede itu ga dipake buat hal2 lain yang lebih berguna buat rakyat sih?
banyak lho yang bisa diperbuat dengan uang sebesar dana kampanye itu.
bisa bikin brapa lapangan kerja buat pengangguran yang smakin banyak itu?
bisa ngasih makan brapa orang miskin?
bisa ngasih akses kesehatan dan pendidikan yang lebih baik buat brapa orang miskin?
bisa buat rehabilitasi lingkungan, kayak benerin lumpur lapindo..
yah, maybe it's just my wishful thinking.. =)
in conclusion, no offense to anyone here..
i'm just trying to express my personal views..
voting or not, i just wanna do my best to serve my beloved country, Indonesia, although it may not show yet.. =)

~ Bleach
it's about a normal high school boy named Ichigo Kurosaki, who just happens to have supernatural powers to see ghosts. one day he incidentally absorbed the powers of a shingami, a death god.
it's full of action and all, and personally, i like it.
but for easily bored people, i don't recommend this. because: it's a long-ongoing series, like Naruto. and it has a lot of characters, which may be a bit confusing.

i've just read this one online. for all i know, it's just been one chapter on the website where i read it, so it's really new.
i was interested because the mangaka(s) -- two people made it -- were the ones who wrote (and drew) Death Note series, which has ended but i also personally like.
so far so good. it's about a reluctant junior high school student who's good at drawing manga, and a classmate of his suddenly urged him to be his partner in making manga.
~ Nodame Cantabile
this is one of my personal, all time favorites.
okay, i admit, i only read and review mangas i like, so my reviews may be biased, but whatever.
i like sharing things that i like to other people, so whatever.
anyways, this one is about a weird, musical student named Megumi Noda, or Noda Megumi written in japan, and she's called Nodame.
she plays the piano and surreptously (is that spelled right?) falls in love with a senior at college named Shinichi Chiaki, who also studies piano, but aspires to be a conductor.
at first, the drawing of this manga is very.. average, if you don't wanna say it bad.
but it gets better, and the not-so-good drawing actually makes the manga more hilarious.
the story is funny. and if you really play classical music, you wouldn't feel the music aspect of this manga is phony.
the humor and music theme is well-written. it's just GOOD.

i'm sure this one is very popular, so i don't really need to tell a synopsis of it.
but, like Bleach, this is a long-ongoing series that can make you bored.
but i still think it's good and the cases are interesting. plus the drawing is good.

~ Perfect Girl Evolution
this is about a gloomy girl that likes dark and scary things and never cares about her appearance. she hates mirrors and being photographed, cause she hates being reminded of how she looks like. so she was sent to live at her aunt's house, where 4 impossibly handsome guys her age also live. these 4 guys were challenged to turn her into a lady, in favor of free rent.
the story is far-fetched, but really funny.
